In this short film, three international students from the Philippines, India and China share their feelings and thoughts about living alone in America. While You Are Sleeping is a gift to their love ones back home so that they may see the world they live in, even from a distance. Directed, written and edited by Donna Isabel Averion. Featuring Sayed Salam and Cheng Yang. Filmed at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2011 as part of Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival. This short film won Campus Best Drama and qualified for screening at the International Campus Movie Fest.
